To become certified, an ISSA-accredited third-party assessor completes an on-site evaluation. This covers a variety of sections including: quality systems, service delivery, human resources, safety & environmental stewardship, and management commitment.
CIMS-GB goes beyond the regular CIMS certification, analyzing the organization’s sustainability practices and green-cleaning programs. The “with Honors” designation indicates an organization scored 100% of the mandatory elements and at least 85% of the additional recommended elements, recognizing superior performance and outstanding processes for cleaning operations.
