Jancoa CEO Miller figured out how to make janitorial employees feel valued

It was the late 1990s, and Tony and Mary Miller were working long hours to grow Jancoa Janitorial Services.
They figured someday they would retire by selling the company. So they hired a consultant to prepare. After three days, the consultant fired them, telling the Millers the company had more problems than he could fix. Jancoa was hiring 50 people a month and had a turnover rate higher than the industry average of 360 percent, Mary Miller said.

Jancoa owners named Business Persons of the Year at Hispanic Summit

Tony and Mary Miller, owners of Jancoa Janitorial Services Inc., received the 2011 Ohio Hispanic Business Summit Business Persons of the Year Award.
